🎯 Internship Objectives
The selected intern will work closely with UNICEF’s Health & Nutrition Officer to:
- Support implementation, planning, and reporting of health and nutrition programmes at national and regional levels.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, documentation, and technical tools.
- Contribute to advocacy and communication materials (presentations, briefs, reports).
- Help capture lessons learned and best practices.
- Gain practical knowledge of project management and UN culture of work.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Participate in programme design, planning, and monitoring meetings.
- Contribute to organizing events, international days, and advocacy campaigns.
- Assist in preparing presentations and documents in French and English.
- Provide occasional support for other UNICEF health and nutrition operations with partners.
✅ Candidate Profile
To qualify, applicants should:
- Be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Public Health, Nutrition, Medical Sciences, Biology, Social Sciences, International Relations, or related fields.
- Have some project management experience (academic, internship, or professional).
- Be fluent in French and Arabic (spoken and written); English is an advantage.
- Demonstrate strong analysis, writing, and communication skills.
- Show initiative, organization, teamwork, and interpersonal qualities.
- Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
📅 Internship Conditions
- Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension)
- Location: Rabat, Morocco (in-person and remote modalities)
- Allowance: 2,000 MAD/month
- Requirements: Personal laptop, proof of health insurance, and availability for possible field missions.
