About the Internship:

What You Will Do:
As an IOM intern, your tasks will vary depending on the department you are placed in, but may include:
- Research and Analysis: Support ongoing research on migration trends, policies, and data collection efforts.
- Project Assistance: Assist in the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of migration-related programs and projects.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance for various IOM departments.
- Report Writing: Help compile reports, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and meetings related to migration topics.

Requirements:
To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: You must be enrolled in, or have recently completed, a degree program (undergraduate or higher) in a relevant field such as International Relations, Migration Studies, Development Studies, Political Science, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Skills: Strong research, communication, and writing skills. Proficiency in English is required (knowledge of other languages, such as French, Spanish, or Arabic, is an asset).
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time internship for a period of 2 to 6 months.
- Eligibility: You must be able to legally work in the country where the internship is based (Vienna, Austria). Proof of medical fitness, residency, and relevant visas will be required prior to appointment.
