📌 Overview

🌍 NSA’s Mission
Interns support NSA’s dual role:
- Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) – Collecting, analyzing, and producing foreign signals intelligence.
- Cybersecurity – Protecting U.S. critical infrastructure and information systems.

🎯 Eligibility & Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Enrolled in a degree-seeking program (undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral).
- Preferred GPA: 3.0+ cumulative
- Security clearance required: TS/SCI, plus
- Background investigation
- Full-scope polygraph
- Psychological evaluation
- Must be available for interviews and processing (Nov 2025 – Apr 2026)
- Subject to random drug testing
Special Note – Language Program
For NSA’s Summer Language Program, majors vary but strong proficiency is sought in:
- Arabic
- Russian
- Mandarin Chinese
- Persian Farsi
- Selected African languages
